Supplying African American History tutoring services tomiddle and high school students. Lessons focus on civil rights reformers andmovements from Ohio in the 19th century. The purpose being a significant numberof students are unaware of the history pertaining to civil rights activist andmovements in their home state. Lessonsare linked with current events. In this way students have an immediate point ofreference with Ohio's civil rights history and its importance with theireveryday lives.
